I wanted to let you all know about an exciting opportunity in our community: participatory budgeting! Each year, our elected officials set aside over $1 million for projects decided by neighbors—and we get to vote on them!

There are many exciting projects on the ballot for schools in the area and beyond, all focused on building safer, healthier lives in western Queens. We encourage everyone to read through them all!
